Looking for a Unique Modern Barstool? Sir Burly is IT!

If you’re looking for something modern and unique for your island counter, Sir Burly is here to help. With its thick circular tube legs, this barstool is a statement.

This piece of furniture was designed by Australian design duo Adam Lynch and Dale Hardiman of Dowel Jones, who have been furnishing interiors worldwide for seven years. Their pieces are made of everyday materials through simple processes that result in delightful, playful designs. While Sir Burly was designed in Australia, it is produced in a Michigan factory right here in the United States.

Sir Burly is available in three color and wood combinations on our website, but if you happen to be a designer and member of our trade program (which you can sign up for right here), then we can powder coat the legs in 28 standard colors or in one of the 150 colors available in our color finder brochure. This chair in a bright color reminds us of a Jeff Koons “Balloon Dog” sculpture. In the right context, this chair becomes a piece of contemporary art.

Of course, it can also be a classy all black or a bright white and natural wood if you’re looking for something a little more subtle for your space. It all depends on your vibe! The white powder coat with the natural wood will blend in nicely against all kinds of color palettes like this deep blue kitchen island.

Sir Burly, as the name suggests, is a sturdy and durable stool that comes with a warranty of five years structural integrity in the frame. We pride ourselves on craftsmanship and quality in all our products. We’re not in the business of fast furniture. We’re making pieces to last.
